The aim is to make hardware and software more secure throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development to updates. The CRA affects every digital product and every new product version sold in the EU, from fitness trackers and manufacturing machinery to highly critical security products. Most manufacturers of products with digital elements sold in the EU are affected.
